Talk and Walk Bat Event - Tuesday 21st August 2018 - 7:30pm
Lake Meadows is proving to be a major haunt for the species Chiroptera, more commonly known as, the bat! Bats are flying mammals and play an essential part in the natural world as indicators of a healthy environment.
If you would like to know more about these fascinating animals, why not "Go Batty" and come to our ‘Talk and Walk’ bat event led by Peter Claughton from the Essex Bat Group. The evening will start at the building beside the café at 7.30. Peter will give us an illustrated talk on bats followed by a walk around the park to see and identify the bats.
Last year all places were taken so you need to book
