"Who Dug the Lake?" an illustrated talk on the History of Lake Meadows:

Wednesday 4th September at 7.30pm

We have given several talks to local groups about the history of Lake Meadows and it has been suggested that we should again have an evening session to enable members and other interested park userss, the chance to find out a bit more about the land now occupied by the park. As well as hearing about the men who dug the lake, we will start in the middle ages and come right up to the current day.

This will be a small event held in the community/party room next to the cafe
