The Park
Lake Meadows Park is an area of approximately 16.685 hectares or 40 acres of public park to the west side of Billericay, which provides a community facility for local residents and visitors alike. For a small town, it provides a particularly beautiful area of open land, with mature trees and a large man-made lake that resemble a Capability Brown design of the eighteenth century, although, in fact, much of the park was not established until the middle of the 20th century.
The main entrance to Lake Meadows and its car park is off Radford Crescent, off Radford Way, near to the station. The car park is pay & display Monday through to Friday between the hours of 9:30 to 10 am and 3 to 3:30 pm. . Visit Basildon Council: Car Parks for more information.
Lake Meadows also has pedestrian entrances at the bottom of Lake Avenue, via a footpath from Perry Street, at Hill House Drive and also Knightsbridge Walk.
